Fri. Nov 1st 2019

At 7:50 AM on Friday November 1st, Squad 1651 was dispatched to Tunkhannock Twp. Fire Company (Monroe 42) for a standby. The Squad went enroute with a crew of 3 and arrived at Station 42 around 8:30 AM. The crew had just got done backing the rig into 42's quarters when Carbon County advised us that Monroe requested not only the Squad, but a full response for a Building Fire at Pocono Manor Resort in Pocono Twp,, PA. In addition to the Squad, both Tanker 1632 & 1633 made the response as well. The Squad went to staging, its crew went to the scene & both tankers started to shuttle their water. Later on in the day, the Squad was relocated from Staging to a local pond to establish a Fill Site to help fill tankers. District 16 was on scene for over 24 hours during this incident.
