Carbon County Fire District 16
Our department serves the residents and guests of Kidder Township, located in the northern portion of Carbon County, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding areas. We are a 100% volunteer department and have been providing fire protection and rescue services since 1977. We are dispatched simultaneously, by the Carbon County Communications Center, with two other companies within the township: District 17-Lake Harmony Fire Department and District 18-Kidder Twp. Volunteer Fire Company #1 as well as EMS Station 17-Lake Harmony Rescue Squad Ambulance with whom we work hand in hand in providing Emergency Medical Services with our Quick Response Service units.
Our station is located on State Route 534, approximately 1 mile West of State Route 903 in Kidder Township.
Feel free to take a look around the site and learn a little about the volunteers that protect the area.
